Yes, Nitrous Oxide Systems can be used with automatic transmissions and in the majority of cases automatic transmission can handle larger power increases than a standard factory manual clutch and gearbox. To reduce the risk of transmission components failing, it is wise to add a progressive controller to introduce the power gradually (this applies just as much to manual transmissions), giving the converter and clutches time to avoid excessive slip, than they would have with a basic fixed hit kit.
