A major cause of nitrous related engine failures is due to running lean. And running lean is likely because of lack of fuel flow. Either due to a too smaller pump or a restriction elsewhere in the fuel system. However, regardless of what the cause is, it can been shown by a low fuel pressure.

For those of you who cant quite stretch to a Max Extreme, this is the option for you.

Adding a fuel pressure cut-off system to your nitrous system could be the difference between a safe working system or a melted piston and a big engine repair bill.

How it works: Simply connect the fuel pressure switch in-line with your fuel solenoid supply and whenever the fuel pressure drops below the pressure switch's (adjustable) pressure level, the circuit will break, cutting the nitrous system.

The system is provided with a fuel pressure switch (adjustable), a 40 amp relay, wiring and connectors.
