Nitrous Gauge, 40mm Bottle Mount

When the nitrous pressure increases, so too will the nitrous flow and if the pressure drops then the flow will be reduced. While the nitrous flow may vary, the fuel flow is more likely to remain unchanged, which means that if the nitrous pressure increases it could result in a potentially dangerous lean mixture which could lead to engine damage. Therefore, monitoring the nitrous pressure is an essential precaution to ensure continued reliability. Nitrous pressure is directly linked to temperature which means the pressure is more likely to be a concern as the weather gets hotter.

During cold spells or in cold climates, low nitrous pressure will be detrimental to performance. However, this can be overcome by fitting our Black Knight bottle heater which can be found here

Should you decide to fit a heater, adding a bottle pressure gauge is a worthwhile addition to ensure the pressure doesn’t get too high.

Although it is possible to fit the gauge directly to the WON valve, the procedure must be carried out by WON or a capable engineer, as the gauge port must be finish drilled and tapped, to accept the direct fit of the gauge.

The gauge has a 1/8 BSP male thread, so for anyone wanting to fit the gauge quickly and easily (without any additional machining), a suitable adapter kit to suit the type of pipe/fittings you're using for where you want the gauge to be mounted, will need to be selected from the drop down menu. You'll find details of the options listed below; 

When the gauge is to be fitted between the bottle and the solenoid (normally on the bottle outlet) a suitable adaptor is required. In the above drop down menu, we offer option 2 (to suit WON 5mm nylon pipe) & option 3 (to suit 4AN braided hose).

 If the gauge is to be fitted remotely from the bottle (in a dash for example), we offer a suitable plumbing kit. We can supply these kits for use with either 5mm or 4AN supply pipe (listed respectively in the above drop down menu as option 4 & 5) and they include;

1 x 5mm to 5mm M/M connector (1/8 BSPT [M] to 5mm [F] adaptor when used with 4AN hose)

1 x T-piece (5mm or 4AN)

1 x 1/8 BSP (F) to 5mm (F) elbow adaptor for gauge

2 meters of 5mm high pressure pipe

2 x 5mm nuts/olives

N.B. The 'Remote location plumbing kit for 4AN braided' is actually supplied with 5mm nylon pipe to connect the bottle outlet to the gauge
