Crossfire injector features; An efficient and well-designed combined injector for single point applications should; 1) Not only 'inject' but also atomise the fuel. 2) Thoroughly mix it with the nitrous. 3) Distribute it as evenly as possible by remove as much of the directional force as possible. Our unique Crossfire injector/nozzle is the only injector that has been specifically designed for single point nitrous and fuel delivery on multi-cylinder engine’s – it therefore does that job much better than any other brand of nozzle. To achieve such outstanding results the Crossfire is the only injector/nozzle with twin nitrous discharge ports, which produce the widest discharge plume of any combined injector/nozzle on the market and will therefore achieve much better distribution, whilst also delivering outstanding atomisation. The flow path through the Crossfire to the injectors is such that it reduces the natural directional force that nitrous has, which aids in achieving even distribution. Another unique feature is that the fuel exits from a 90 degree centre port, which delivers the fuel inline with the air and nitrous flow, whilst the nitrous discharges from the 2 ports either side flows in a cross firing action to the fuel flow, to achieve superior fuel atomization and mixing. Delivering the fuel in line with the nitrous and air flow means that its less likely to drop out of the mix and form a puddle on the manifold floor, which will reduce the consequences of any engine backfire. Unlike many other company’s nozzles, there are no intersecting internal fuel and nitrous ports, that could lead to an internal leakage causing fuel reversion problems, as each flow path is completely separate from the other. Most other brands of nozzle have a single outlet that is turned through an abrupt 90 degree bend, but because of the nature of nitrous oxide, this causes losses in flow and density. The Crossfire however, has a unique curved nitrous flow path to the twin discharge ports which aids flow and minimises any loss in density. All other brands of nozzle create major obstruction in the air flow, resulting in substantial power loss when not using nitrous in NA mode, the Crossfire however, causes minimal obstruction to air flow due to a domed low profile discharge tip. Our unique thermo plastic retainer is supplied for secure fitment to any tube without the need for the tube to be threaded and therefore results in a very quick and simple installation to all applications. Unlike other brands who use bulky metal retainers for that component, the WON retainer is a low profile thermo plastic component, which neither creates any obstruction (as the other brands do), nor puts your engine at any risk, should it come adrift and fall in to the engine.
Each injector is supplied with two different sizes of spacers, for a simple and universal fit to any silicone, rubber, plastic, or metal intake tube.
