This is a DRY system intended for diesel applications only. Unlike petrol engines, diesels can't be fitted with wet nitrous systems (which add the extra fuel with the nitrous in the manifold), because it would cause the engine to stall or run very poorly. Therefore all diesels must be fitted with a dry nitrous system which relies on additional fuel being added through the existing fuel injection system. On most modern diesels it is now possible to have your ECU remapped to deliver more fuel to achieve this. However, that will cause your engine to run richer than normal at full throttle when the nitrous is not in use, therefore a unit that can be switched to deliver more fuel only when the nitrous system is activated is a better option.
Note: As standard the system is supplied with nylon, 5mm OD high pressure nitrous supply pipe, which keeps undesirable gaseous nitrous to a minimum. Consequently you are saved the expense of adding a purge kit to the system.
Braided hose can be chosen from the drop-down menu, but is only advisable for those living in hot countries where temperatures regularly exceed 30 degrees or those wanting more than 150bhp. A purge system is also advisable for optimum performance.
Note: This system has the potential to increase the power of your engine by up to 150 horsepower. However each engine varies on power output capabilities depending on many factors, so the total power achievable can vary.
